Lake Antrona

Lake Antrona is a natural basin near the homonymous village, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. The lake originated from a landslide on 27 July 1642. The lake is located 1000 meters above sea level of antrona is the typical alpine lake, its pure and crystalline waters take on the green color. In summer the lake is a destination for many tourists who come to the area to tackle the many available trails.
