Antrona Valley Natural Park

The Park area covers an area of 7,444 hectares in the Municipality of Antrona Schieranco and Borgomezzavalle in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. It extends between the 500 meters of the valley floor near Borgomezzavalle up to the 3.656 meters of Pizzo Andolla in the upper Val Loranco on which they converge the Swiss valleys Zwischbergenthal and Saastal. In the park of the Antrona Valley two important trekking routes pass: the GTA path (Grande Traversata delle Alpi) and the SFT circuit (Simplom Fletschhorn Trekking).
